Our Story
DeFi Sentinel was founded in 2024 by a group of DeFi researchers and smart contract auditors who saw a gap in the market: users were chasing APY without understanding the risks.
After witnessing the collapse of Terra/Luna and the Celsius crisis, we realized that "DYOR" (Do Your Own Research) is impossible for the average user when protocols are built on layers of complex code.
We built DeFi Sentinel to be the standard for safety in DeFi. Our mission is to make sure no one loses their life savings due to hidden risks or malicious code.
